The HALO2 Wireless Refillable pH Tester

Accurate and easy to use, the HI9810412 HALO2 Wireless Refillable pH Tester is ideal for laboratory pH measurements in samples that would be a challenge for standard design pH electrodes. This HALO2 can be used as a stand-alone pH tester or can be connected to a smart device with the Hanna Lab App. The Hanna Lab App turns the device into a full-featured pH meter that features live readings, data sharing, manual temperature compensation, calibration reminder, pH (mV), and temperature alarms. The Hanna Lab App also features Hanna Cloud compatibility.

Features

The HI9810412 features a non-porous, glass body that is easy to clean and withstands harsh chemicals. The double junction reference design presents a silver-free electrolyte solution interacting with the sample, making the electrode less susceptible to clogging and guaranteeing a fast response and stable reading. Our HALO2 Wireless General Use pH Tester has a refillable glass body and spherical glass sensing bulb made for users that prefer a low-maintenance laboratory-grade pH electrode.

Universal Connectivity

The open-source Bluetooth® protocol allows easy integration with the Hanna Lab App and the current Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). This HALO2 Wireless pH Tester is GLP compliant.

IP65 Water Resistant Protection

The housing of the pH Tester is rated IP65, meaning it has a high level of protection against particles and dust, and protection against the ingress of water from jets. This makes it ideal for outdoor use.

The pH tester's compact size makes it ideal for on-the-go testing. A large LCD provides at-a-glance readings from any angle, and single-button operation streamlines the testing process for any user.

Cleaning and Disinfection Solution Your HALO2 pH Tester comes with cleaning solution that has been engineered to keep your electrode free from grease and debris. This concentrated combination of detergents cleans your meter quickly and effectively so that your meter stays in optimum condition. Easy Calibration HALO2 can be placed right into our calibration buffer sachets for easy calibration. Using a Hanna calibration sachet ensures your buffer is always fresh. Storage Solution Proper storage of your electrode will ensure reliable measurements and a long electrode life. Our storage solution is specially formulated to keep the pH glass hydrated while minimizing organic growth.

General Purpose Glass Formulation General Purpose (GP) glass provides the best response over the entire pH range and can be used for a wide range of applications. Built-In Temperature Sensor The HALO2 Lab pH Tester (HI9810412) features a built-in temperature sensor for temperature measurement and compensation. Spheric Glass Tip The spheric bulb is for general purpose use within laboratory environments and applications that measure aqueous solutions due to its large surface area. Other tip shapes include conic for penetration and flat tip for surface measurements.

Uses a pH electrode suitable for analysis and quality control measurements. The internal solution (3.5M KCl) can be replenished, which improves measurement stability and reaction speed. The measurable temperature range is wide, from -5 to 80°C, and it also supports high temperatures. The electrode has a built-in amplifier, which prevents noise errors and enables quick and stable measurements. (See the specifications for details on the pH electrode.)

The HI 9810402 can be calibrated at five points - pH 1.68, 4.01, 7.01 (6.86), 10.01 (9.18), and 12.45 - and a calibration curve can be drawn, providing high accuracy and reliability even on the acidic/alkaline side.

Turn Your Smartphone or Tablet into a pH Meter.

The HALO2 app is compatible with iOS and Android. By connecting the HALO2 to a smartphone/tablet with the app installed via Bluetooth, your smartphone or tablet can quickly turn into a pH meter. Since it is a smartphone or tablet that you are familiar with, it is intuitive to operate and you can easily send data by email. (You can choose to send emails in CSV or PDF format.)
