The Eaton 5PX2200IRT is a 2200 VA / 1980 W line‑interactive UPS designed to deliver dependable power continuity and voltage regulation for servers, network infrastructure, storage arrays, and mission‑critical IT equipment. Combining energy efficiency with advanced battery and power management features, this model supports both rack‑mount (2U form factor) and tower installations, making it versatile for corporate server rooms, data centers, and hybrid IT environments.

Power Technology & Performance

Powered by line‑interactive topology, the 5PX2200IRT stabilises mains input through automatic voltage regulation (AVR) while delivering a pure sine‑wave output that protects sensitive electronics from voltage sags, swells, and transient disturbances. With a 0.9 output power factor, this UPS provides more usable real power (watts) relative to its VA rating—ensuring robust performance for heavily loaded UPS circuits. The unit includes a C20 input connector and a generous suite of outputs: eight IEC C‑13 sockets and one IEC C‑19 socket, supporting diverse loads such as servers, routers, and switches. The integrated LCD display provides real‑time status data, measurements, and diagnostics directly at the front panel.

Battery Autonomy & Expandability

Built‑in, user‑replaceable lead‑acid batteries are managed via Eaton’s ABM® technology and temperature‑compensated charging, extending service life and limiting deep discharge impact. Typical battery runtime without external modules is sufficient for orderly shutdowns and short outages.

For extended backup duration, the 5PX2200IRT supports external battery modules (EBMs) that connect seamlessly, dramatically increasing autonomy to meet longer power interruption scenarios.
